"Oracle OpenWorld 2010 was the first international exhibit experience for The DBA Shoppe Database Administration. A show like this involves the time and effort of many, many people - all of whom to which we extend our sincere thanks. After all of the planning and preparation, all of the design and production, all of the budgeting and travel arrangements, it ultimately comes down to people engaging people on-site, on a 10x10 double-padded carpet.
Robyn Davis was an instrumental part of making The DBA Shoppe's experience at Oracle OpenWorld a marketing success story. We needed a hostess who could learn database terminology quickly and efficiently in the ramp-up to the event and who could execute a successful delivery of that information in a highly technical sales environment. Robyn's technical background and education was undoubtedly key to her being able to do just that. Employing her professional charm, Robyn successfully attracted OpenWorld attendees into the booth and engaged them in a very pleasant manner, determining quickly whether a good fit existed for both parties. She was very adept at making small alterations to her approach to maximize the number of leads obtained during rushes and busy times and doggedly pursued possible leads during slower times. Robyn worked very well with the other members of the 'Conference Crew' and was a welcome part of the team in post-show-day debriefs.
The DBA Shoppe received a phenomenal response to our exhibit at Oracle OpenWorld 2010 and we will be following up high-quality leads for many months to come.
